Newly weds Dick (Thomas Jane) and Gina (Lauren German) decide to head from Las Vegas across the Nevada desert. The couple are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride. The inspiration director Thomas Jane had cited for making the film came from his admiration for the horror films of old and film noir, in addition to The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and old issues of EC Comics comic books.
